2017 OGS Conference: Genealogy Gone Wild, April 26-29, 2017


Congratulations you are now ready to join the adventure of Genealogy Gone Wild! This is the official OGS Conference website for all the important conference news, updates and most important conference registration.

The OGS 2017 Annual Conference will be held at Kalahari Resort & Convention Center in Sandusky,Ohio (between Toledo & Cleveland, Ohio and just down the road from Cedar Point Amusement Park) on April 26-29, 2017. The full program brochure can be downloaded from the program page when it becomes available. If you plan on attending the workshops make sure to register early since there are a limited number of seats available and they will go quickly!



Pre-conference activities on Wednesday, April 26 will include mid-afternoon two-hour workshops and a social event in the evening.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday events include approximately 86 lectures with workshops scheduled every day covering all phases of genealogical study, lineage society inductions, a vendor hall, the OGS annual meeting, special evening events and plenty of genealogical fellowship and fun events. A special room set up like a college lecture classroom will be used for hands-on workshop training on various topics throughout the conference. For those who love to shop, the vendor hall will have ample products and genealogy tools to satisfy your needs. Watch for more details on this site and other social media.
